Reverend Charlotte Wright, Interim Minister

 Following the retirement of long-time minster Rev. Mary Klaaren, Rev. Charlotte Wright has served South Church as its interim minister since May 2007.

Neely and Phyllis Bruce ¾ Music Directors

   Neely is a professor of Music and American Studies at Wesleyan University and prolific composer whose works have been performed across the country around the world. In addition to South Church, Neely is chorus master for the Connecticut Opera, based in Hartford. Phyllis has worked in several churches as choir director and organist and has sung professionally and taught voice for many years. She and Neely have served South Church since 1997.
